Took the ferry to Gibson Island, a 45-minute ride from Vancouver. Great picture of my Mike & I. Good shot Mom!
Gibson Island is a beautiful little town, lots of great restaurants, gardens where our good friend Linda lives. What a gorgeous home and garden!! Brandy & Meg, you would LOVE Linda's home...so much character. It reminds me of a scene from Lord of the Rings.
The ferry is a drag though, because it is your only way of getting on and off the island. It seems that typically you can wait an hour or more. The first picture is a picture of us waiting for the ferry.
The landscape is beautiful, though. I can't believe that tomorrow we leave for Alaska. Youpee!!
Sounds like you are having a great time! I think Megan & I did visit Linda's house when we were in Vancouver 3 years ago... Unless she has moved since then? And yes, we both loved her home! :)
